OMG More Empties!

Even more empties! I wasn’t planning on doing another one of these so soon, but I have gone through so many products and my bathroom is already so cluttered! So here we go!

SeaTree Moisture Mist

Love LOVE this moisture mist. Its the best one I have ever used! I have only been able to find it on Beauteque for $12.99, which offers an amazing korean beauty/skincare monthly subscription box. They also sell the products they feature which is where I bought a replacement of this. ITS SO GOOD!! Grade- A++++++++

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion

This is one of my favorite toners, I use it every morning. Really works well with the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and I love having that extra boost of skincare under my makeup! I usually get this from SK-II’s website but its also available at and Saks. Grade- A-

GlamGlow Youthmud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment

I wanted to love this, but it really irritated my sensitive skin. I mean super irritated. It hurt so bad while it was one, and my skin was left super red, tender and super sore afterwards. I have noticed every Glamglow product I use does the same thing, which is depressing. Because overall my skin felt so smooth and after the redness and irritation died down it looked good too. I just can’t justify purchasing this, and if you have sensitive skin be warned! But you can find it at Sephora Grade- B *for results*

COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid

I actually liked this product a lot. I noticed my blackheads would diminish when I used this consecutively, and it was easy to use and did not aggravate my sensitive skin. The problem is I would forget to use this, since I used it after my essence, and before my serums. I am super strict with my skincare routine and I just kept forgetting about this. So I have decided not to repurchase (for now). But if you have issues with blackheads I would recommend giving this a shot! I got mine at Grade- B+

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Peel-Off Mask

Hate is such a strong word, but hate is what I can use to describe my feelings towards this mask. I didn’t use it all, I didn’t even use a 1/5 of it. But I am chucking it in the garbage. It would NEVER fully dry, and to top that off it wasn’t easy to wash off what remainder of the mask wouldn’t peel off. I had to scrape it off with my fingernails. I tried thin layers, thick layers, I let it sit on my face for over an hour. No thank you, PASS! Also my skin showed no improvement at all after each use, so it wasn’t like the extra effort was worth it for the results. But a lot of people do like it so if you want to play Russian Roulette with your face you can find it at most drugstores and Grade- FAIL

La Mer The Illuminating Eye Gel

I tried a deluxe sample of this and I was sold. I used this just in the  morning, and my underlies were brightened, and moisturized. They felt amazing, even under heaps of makeup! I am still using my SK-II eye cream, but when I am done with that I will probably be purchasing this, probably from La Mers website, or Neiman Marcus. Grade- A

Perricone MD Cold Plasma

OK, ok… hold up. I don’t know where this product has been all my life but OMG it is amazing. I ended up getting a few deluxe samples of this little baby, and my skin ADORES IT. The smell is pretty off putting, but the results speak for themselves. This has been one of the best anti-aging products I have ever used. I will be purchasing a full-size of this when I am through with all my samples! If you are looking for a good anti-aging product I recommend checking this out! My skin looks so much younger, and healthier since I added this to my routine! You can find it at Sephora, Ulta and various other places. Grade- A+

Other Products in my Empties list *that were either not impressive or I have previously talked about

  • COTZ Face Natural Skintone SPF 40- to dark for me and to thick
  • Lindsay Charcoal Magic Mask- I did a review on this. I really like it but I have other masks I like a lot better. worth checking out though!
  • Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil
  • Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen booster
  • Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing mask- this was alright, I have better sugar scrubs though
  • Tatcha Luminous Memory Serum Concentrate- I liked this, but not enough to justify the cost. I may buy it in the future
  • Ahava Dead Sea Crystal Osmotic Serum- this did nothing for my skin, so pass.
  • NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray- Love and already bought a replacement
  • Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Foaming Cleasner- Made it my favorite cleanser list. Love this, and already bought a replacement
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray- Love and have a full-size (this was a deluxe sample)
  • Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser- was an alright cleanser but I have better. So Pass
  • Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate- I actually really enjoyed this, so I may purchase it in the future.

April Favorites :: Makeup

I have a lot of favorites this month! From make up, skin care, and even some tools! You may have read a few in other blog posts. But they all are worthy of being on this list! This post is for Makeup and later I will post my skincare favorites!

April Favorites – Makeup

Guerlain  Terracotta Pause d’ete Bronzer – This is so pretty, and warm, and buttery, and wonderful. and love love GUSSSHH love! This is limited edition for summer 2016, so if you are obsessed with terra-cotta bronzers you need to check this out.

Chosungah 22 Lip Tint in CashmereI did a review on this earlier and I stand by my thoughts on the lipgloss side. But the tint is amazing and I have been wearing it all the time. I was thinking of buying a second to keep in my other purse as well. SO GOOD. You can buy them at Sephora

Anastasia Glow kit in Gleam– I love them both but Gleam has been the one I am reaching for the most. The pans are nice and large, and the colors are beautiful. I use crushed pearl the most but love to layer starburst and Mimosa as well.

La Mer the Concealer in Light– OK, I know this is pricey for a concealer ($70) But hear me out. Clea de Peau’s famous concealer is just as pricey and I can promise you this is just as good if not better. I have NEVER had a concealer work as well as this one. No creasing (and thats without me baking) Goes on like a dream, and lasts all day. It’s a little drying but thats not to bad. overall this concealer is a champion and I am obsessed!

IOPE Air Cushion XP #N21– This is such a nice formula. Looks very flattering on my skin and lasts all day. I love the way my skin feels when I wear this as well. I have been wearing this almost everyday.

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ – Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick SPF 15 in Beige Ultimate- Love love LOVE this color, and formula. This is such a flattering neutral color it goes with everything! Feels nice and moisturizing on, and looks amazing.

E.L.F Eye Brow Duo Kit in Medium– This has to be one of the nicest (and most inexpensive) eye brow kits. It works and blends like a dream and is so affordable ($3). I have been using this everyday!

Honorable Mentions

  • Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in 1993
  • Peripera Water Lip Tint in Mandarin Juice
  • Holika Holika Jewel light Under eye marker
  • Too Cool for School Dinoplatz UFO Multibox

Little Haul :: Sephora Favorites – Paint it Pink

I saw this little set at Sephora and I knew I had to grab it up! It was only $40 (and I needed a new beauty blender and those are like $20) So I thought it would be super fun!

I love Sephora’s value sets like this because you get SO MUCH, and the prices are always so good! Apparently this is a $122 value. Even if it isn’t I was going to buy a new Beauty Blender anyway so to get all this for $20 extra dollars was well worth it!

  • Beauty Blender – Pink
  • Becca Cosmetics – Shimmer Skin Perfector, Rose Gold
  • Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara
  • Laura Mercier Velour Lovers lip color in French Kiss
  • Make Up Forever Artist Plexi-Gloss 202
  • Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Baby Love
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Scratch
  • Tarte Amazonian 12 hour Blush in Blissful

I am really in love with the Shimmer from Becca and the eyeshadow from Urban Decay. I do love most of this (the nail polish color isn’t my cup of tea, but it will be nice to use for french tips)

Here are some product pics! I hope you enjoy!

Haul :: Ulta, some fun palettes!

Ok I  got some fun stuff from Ulta! I made 2 palettes an picked up a super special one. I also got some fun little randos!

The Goods

FullSizeRenderSo I made 2 custom Palettes and got some other fun things!

  • Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette (I believe this is exclusive to ULTA)
  • Custom Urban Decay Palette
  • Custom Buxon Palette
  • Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in Stark Naked
  • Butter London Eyeliner Pencil in Busker
  • Travel Sized Makeup Brush and Sponge Cleaner
  • Napoleon Perdis eyeshadow in Arabian Nights
  • Also a few things from their dollar sale – Gumball Dreams bubblebath, spring fling cheek shimmer and blush, and a small little pan of cheek color)
  • Not Pictured- TonyMoly I’m Real Aloe Sheet Mask

The palettes from Buxon and Urban Decay were fun to create.

Firstly the Colors in the PB&J palette from Too Faced are so amazing, and it smells so yummy. I am really digging all the colors.

Colors in the Urban Decay Small Palette- all moondust shadows

  • Solstice
  • Cosmic
  • Space Cowboy
  • Moonspoon

I fell in love with these. The colors are gorgeous and they are so shimmer with just the right amount of glitter. Even for my old lady dried eyes they look beautiful!

Buxom Shadows

  • IT Crowd
  • Hot or Yacht
  • Room Service
  • Pure Platinum
  • Diamond Darling
  • No Faux

I love Buxom Lipglosses but have never tried their shadows. This little palette was so Cheap! (only $40) so It is a nice way to get introduced to their shadows. If they are great I may go make another 2-3 palettes!

This was a fun little Haul! I ❤ Ulta!

Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes

I Love eyeshadow. I think its always so fun to create different eye looks. Natural, smokey, super dramatic… it’s all glorious fun! I also LOVE eyeshadow palette as well. They let me get a good variety of colors that I normally wouldn’t find or buy, and usually at a great price. I have OODLES of palettes, but I thought it might be fun to share my favorites!

Galaxy Chic From BH Cosmetics

I really LOVE BH Cosmetics. There makeup is very affordable, and I am always impressed by the quality. This is one of their most famous palettes, the Galaxy Chic. It;s amazing, and I use it all the time and its only $12. You can buy it, and other amazing goodies straight from their website! Check them out!

Naked Basics by Urban Decay

I Love this! I use this as a base for most of my shadows, or if I want a really simple, natural, and pretty look. Plus I am a sucker for pretty much all Urban Decay eyeshadows!

TruNaked – Roses by Covergirl

I didn’t think I’d love this as I am not a huge fan of CoverGirl Makeup. I bought it on a whim from Amazon, and I just kinda let it sit in my makeup area for awhile. I decided to use it one day and I was really surprised. The colors are so flattering on me, and although this doesn’t go on to smooth, it does have a nice finish, and it lasts a good while. I use it all the time now.

Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar by Too Faced

ok I really love all of Too Faced Palettes and colors. and I have a few of them. But I wanted to have just one for this list, and it has to be this palette. Almost purely for that blue. I LOVE that blue (its Blueberry Swirl)

Pastel Persuasion Eyeshadow Palette by Buxom

I Love love LOOOOVE Buxom shadows. I got this palette as a gift, and I absolutely adore it. It has such nice colors for spring, but it also translates well into summer and fall. The eyeshadows are such a nice quality too!

Those are my favorite eyeshadow palettes. I have a lot more but these are the ones I have been reaching for recently!

Do you all have any favorites?

My Favorite Bronzers!

My complexion is fast improving but it isn’t there yet. So for foundations or any base make up really I need decent/high coverage. Since I am a pasty white any and all base make ups usually completely remove any sort of color I’d have on my face, so I need a good bronzer to help me not look so ghoulish!

I have a lot of different brands of bronzers, but I generally stick to these guys more then any.

Givenchy Poudre Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Powder

Color 2 Douce Croisière – light tan

This has a nice color for my skin tone, and I love the slightly shimmery finish of it. Has a very light feel. I usually use a big powder brush when I apply this. It has nice long wear, and doesn’t feel heavy or get cakey. I also love its blendability!

Urban Decay – Naked Flushed

 Color Palette Native

When I first saw this I wasn’t to sure, but it was on sale and I thought MEH why not. Well,I fell in LOVE with this set! I use the highlighter all the time, and the blush I use a lot as well, but that bronzer, so good! It gives me a very slight sun kissed look without making it look like I have to much makeup on. I use a mini kabuki brush for this.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer

 Color Sunshine

I really like this one (well obviously! It’s on this list!) But I do have a few specific reasons why A- because it is so affordable. and B because when I use this I will also use it as an eyeshadow and I love that look so much! I find if I want a simple easy look for just around the house, or to go get groceries or a quick bite to eat, using bronzer as an eye color as well as face makeup gives me a polished effortless look. This bronzer is the one I usually do this with because the color is so flattering for my skintone, and for my brown eyes.

BareMinerals Warmth All Over Face Color

MY FIRST BRONZER! Seriously, I still have it too! this stuff lasts forever and goes such a long way. I initially thought the color would be to much for me but it looks so nice on! Sometimes I will layer this with my Urban Decay one for a more chiseled look!

I will be ending this list with my Holy Grail Bronzer!!!! ❤

Guerlain Teracotta Bronzing Powder

Color 3

Love love LOOOOVE

Everything about this I just love. I love how easy it is to apply. I love the color. I love how it might look too dark for me, but it matches so GOOD! I could throw away all my make up and just live with a nice foundation, mascara and this bronzer forever!!!!!

I probably own about 15 bronzers but these are definitely my faves! ❤
